1.  Review the Ritz-Carlton experience described in the Ritz-Carlton Company, USA case study at the end of Chapter 10. Discuss why and how you would transfer some of their methods to the operation of a non-accommodation component in an integrated resort complex. 2. Chapter 11 of the text tells us, “if resorts are to continue to survive by adjusting to changing social and technical circumstances, they will need to become more proactive with regard to the current climate and cultural changes that face us all” (Murphy, 2008, p. 339). Do you agree with this statement? Why or why not?
