  1. Develop a Research Summary for research you believe is necessary to conduct. If you prefer to do a summary in a question/answer format as compared to the traditional essay format you may do so. However, be aware that this is not just to serve as a mere answer, but make certain that you elaborate and clearly discuss your question/answer as you would in taking a stand for a position paper. If you are unsure of how you would move forward with this, please do not hesitate to contact your instructor.
  2. Include in the summary the following information:
  3. Part 1:A brief overview of the research topic and why it is important to research.
  4. Whether you will use true experimental design or quasi-experimental design.
  5. What specific research design will you use, such as observations, survey, etc?
  6. Identify the research questions you want to ask.
  7. Identify the population you want to research.
  8. Part 2:Describe the sampling technique you would choose to use.
  9. Identify whether you would use probability or non-probability sampling and why?
  10. Identify which particular sampling technique you would chose to use and why? (i.e., randomization, stratified, etc.)
